March 2011 - MB Consulting would like to welcome Jessica Meier to our team. Jessica will be working as our Client Services Coordinator and will be working hand in hand with our team to ensure that we are meeting all internal and external company goals. Jessica has a strong background as an analyst and will be using those skills to ensure that we are offering the best possible service to our clients.
April 2011 – MB Consulting would like to welcome Chris Milan to our team as the newest addition to our help desk team. Chris has worked in a help desk environment at his previous job and will be the first line of support for our clients.
Mortland Golf Classic a Success
September 2011 - The Mortland Golf Classic would like to thank all sponsors, participants and Whitmoor Country Club for helping make the 2011 Herbert Butch Mortland Golf Classic a success. We were able to raise over $10,000 for Angel’s Arms, a local charity that provides homes and resources to local foster children. This year’s Golf Classic was a tribute to Jeff, Ryan and Molly Mortland’s father, Butch Mortland, who founded the Mortland Golf Classic over 15 years ago.
gloStream's gloEMR is One of the First to Receive ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 Certification
gloStream announced today that gloEMR 6.0 is 2011/2012 compliant and was certified as a Complete EHR on September 30 by the Certification Commission for Health Information Technology (CCHIT®), an ONC-ATCB, in accordance with the applicable eligible provider certification criteria adopted by the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The 2011/2012 criteria support the Stage 1 meaningful use measures required to qualify eligible providers and hospitals for funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
"We remain dedicated to providing ambulatory physicians with Microsoft Office-based EMR solutions that are flexible, easy to use and certified for purposes of the ARRA," said Mike Sappington, gloStream's CEO. "We want to help doctors become meaningful EMR users and receive their stimulus funding as quickly as possible, which is the reason we were one of the very first EMRs certified through an ONC-ATCB. Not only have we delivered on our stimulus guarantee, but we will also deliver an innovative stimulus dashboard within gloEMR that providers can use to view their performance against all meaningful use requirements."
The ONC-ATCB 2011/2012 certification program tests and certifies that Complete EHRs meet all of the 2011/2012 criteria and EHR Modules meet one or more – but not all – of the criteria approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) for either eligible provider or hospital technology.
"CCHIT is pleased to be testing and certifying products so that companies are now able to offer these products to providers who wish to purchase and implement certified EHR technology and achieve meaningful use in time for the 2011-2012 incentives," said Karen M. Bell, M.D., M.S.S., Chair, CCHIT.
2011/2012 certification conferred by CCHIT does not represent an endorsement of the certified EHR technology by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services nor does it guarantee the receipt of incentive payments.
Mortland Golf Classic Raises Money for St. Louis for Kids
September 13, 2010 - The committee members of the 15th Annual Mortland Golf Classic would like to thank all of the sponsors and participants of this year’s event. Through your support the tournament was able to raise $15,000 for St. Louis for Kids.
This year’s event brought the total amount raised by the Annual Mortland Golf Classic to over $180,000. All proceeds have been donated to children’s charities located in the St. Louis metropolitan area.

15th Annual Mortland Golf Classic Registration Begins
August 19th, 2010 - MB Consulting Group is partnering with Mortland & Co. to host the 15th Annual Mortland Golf Classic benefitting St. Louis for Kids. This year’s event is being held Friday, September 10, 2010, at Whitmoor Country Club. Golfers complete in a 4-person scramble format and shotgun starting at 1:00pm.
St. Louis for Kids is a local organization that provides help to the area's youth, focusing on improving non-school hour programs so that our youth have the opportunity to achieve their full potential and grow into healthy adults.
If you cannot make this yea's event there are sponsorship opportunities available.

MB Participates in ALA Vendor Fair
August 19, 2010 – MB Consulting participated in the Association of Legal Administrator's (ALA) Gateway Chapter Vendor fair held at the Missouri Athletic Club on August 18th. Chris Miller and Emily Henke were on hand to represent MB Consulting Group and had the opportunity to meet many wonderful ALA members as well as fellow vendors.

MB Consulting Group Welcomes Steve Kroll and Robbin Payne
August 9, 2010 - MB Consulting Group, an IT firm specializing in network support for small to medium sized businesses, announces the hiring of two new employees, Steve Kroll and Robbin Payne.
Steve takes over as Accounting Manager at MB. As the Accounting Manager, Steve will oversee all day-to-day accounting duties. Steve is a Certified Public Accountant and brings over 20 years of experience in the accounting industry. He is looking forward to working with MB’s dynamic and dedicated team of professionals.
Robbin joins MB Consulting as Technical Services Manager. She will oversee all scheduling, coordinating of MB Consulting’s tech team and client relations. Robbin has been in the IT industry since 1989 and is Microsoft MCTS, MCP and CompTia A+ certified. She enjoys working in the fast-paced and constantly evolving world of IT and is excited to work with MB Consulting’s IT team.

MB Participates in Group Build for Habitat for Humanity
June 7th, 2010 –MB Consulting's employees participated in a group build with Habitat for Humanity this past Saturday. MB worked hand in hand with Habitat for Humanity leaders as well as future homeowners to install floor supports on two home sites.
MB is proud of the volunteer group that helped participate and is planning on making this the first of many times MB works with Habitat for Humanity!

MB Consulting Helps Haiti Victims
February 11, 2010 - MB Consulting collected over 40 pairs of gently worn shoes to be sent to Haiti’s earthquake victims. The shoes are being sent to Haiti through an organization called Soles 4 Souls.
Soles 4 Souls was founded in 2004 by Wayne Elsey. He felt compelled to help the tsunami victims in Southeast Asia and thus Soles 4 Souls was born. Soles 4 Souls has sent over 2 million pairs of gently worn shoes to victims of natural disasters throughout the world.

14th Annual Mortland Golf Classic a Success

MB Consulting Group Welcomes Web Developer Dustin Crider
July 10, 2009 - MB Consulting Group announces the employment of web developer, Dustin Crider. Dustin will be working closely with MB’s current web staff to develop top-notch websites.

MB Consulting Group Expands Tech Work Force
July 1, 2009 - MB Consulting welcomes the addition of network engineer, Josh Sharp. Josh will be focusing on leading the help desk at one of MB’s top clients. Besides working on the help desk, Josh will participate in the building of a network infrastructure.
Josh brings his experience from working in IT specifically in the health care where he managed over 40,000 users across 6 different states using Citrix, Exchange, Lawson, ADP, Cerner and Star.

July 2008 - While Ryan Mortland was growing up, a Saturday visit to his father’s accounting firm’s office was nothing out of the ordinary. So the thought of owning a business was never out of Mortland’s realm of possibility.

MB Consulting Group Taps Miller To Spearhead Growth
May 1, 2008 - MB Consulting today announced the appointment of Chris Miller as business development executive. Miller will focus on outlining the Company's sales strategy and will be instrumental in driving the future growth of the Company within the small- and medium-sized business (SMB) market in St. Louis and the Midwest.
Prior to assuming this newly created position, Miller served within business development and sales roles for Snelling Staffing Services, Wells Fargo Financial and Cbeyond Communications. He has a MA in International Business from Webster University and an undergraduate degree in International Studies and Business Administration from Illinois College. Miller also was a member of both the Illinois College Soccer and Track and Field teams.
